What Change Would Look Like

Clear roles, shared responsibility and a practical transition that keeps the club running smoothly.

• Day-to-day operations continue — regular club activities, range access, matches, training and administration would continue as normal, with responsibilities shared across the new committee, existing staff and experienced members who already contribute their time, knowledge and passion to the club.
• Shared leadership — responsibilities are distributed across the committee and relevant volunteers, with major decisions made collectively rather than relying too heavily on one role.
• Empowered sub-committees — new sub-committees filled with members keen to make a difference and empowered by the Club to do so. We can see sub-committees for things like range maintenance, new ranges, club house improvements, training & lessons, government funding, dealership & stock.
• Clear roles and responsibilities — members can see who is responsible for areas like administration, finances, training, range operations, maintenance, communications and member engagement.
• A practical transition — existing knowledge, systems and responsibilities are handed over in an organised way so nothing important falls through the cracks.
• Right people for right roles — committee members and volunteers take on responsibilities based on their skills, experience and availability.
• Continuity where it makes sense — people who already contribute valuable work to the club can continue to do so, with clear approval, oversight and accountability where required.
